I Am Going to Get My Ex Back

So, I have decided that I am going to make myself as attractive as I was when I first met my ex. Why ? Because I know that is going to do me a lot of good and it will be a key element in getting back my ex and even if I fail (perish the thought!) I am going to be a marketable product for someone else! I am now doing exercise everyday and already I am feeling better. I need to check my diet now to make sure that I am eating healthily because that is going to make all the difference. Otherwise my efforts in the gym will be wasted.

Rule 1. I am going to stay off alcohol as much as possible and avoid too much coffee. I am going to drink lots of water which is important because of the water I am losing from exercising. I know anyway that water is great for my skin, joints, preventing headaches. It stops me from feeling bloated. Also when I get a snack attack, I drink water and it helps me resist the temptation. I am on 8 glasses a water a day now although I drink more after exercising.

Rule 2. Fruit and Veggies. I used to eat a fair amount of these. But I am increasing them now and also the variety of them and trying to find more interesting ones than just spinach or oranges!

These are giving me all the vitamins and fiber I am going to need. The Japanese eat lots of different foods during their meals and this is reflected in the great variety of colours on the plate. Each colour represents an essential vitamin or mineral so they say you should have at least four different colours on your plate.

Rule 3. Try new fruit and vegetables. I tried kiwis, pineapples and grapes just for a change. I also tried peppers (red ones are best!) and made a great quiche. Recipes ? I try the online ones as there are so many and there are always easy to prepare ones available.

Rule 4. I won’t forget the protein ! Protein not only feeds my brain but also my muscles. So I am going to avoid red meat (maybe once a week) and for the rest of the time I am going to try chicken , turkey, pork. Other great sources of protein are eggs, milk, yogurt and cheese and nuts.

I am also looking for the leaner cuts of meat too as that means less fat. I am going to eat fish at least once a week as that contains Omega 3 fat (the good kind of fat) – that does my mood a lot of good.

I know that it has an anti depressant effect and I can also find Omega 3 in olive oil, nuts, fish oil and flax.

Finally I am going to look better and more attractive and feel more energetic. This is the first step in helping me get over the break up with my ex and I am not going to fall into the trap of making desperate phone calls ! Also I am feeling better mentally because I feel healthier generally. What is the next step in winning back my ex ? The link below contains some great strategies.
